Why choose us

Marking that is set out before it is sprayed

Most line marking problems are set out problems. A car park loses spaces because the bays were marked to the wrong module, a warehouse aisle ends up too tight for the MHE that uses it, or a crossing sits where nobody actually walks. We measure the area, work out the layout that gives you the most usable space, and agree it with you before a drop of paint goes down.

We then apply the right material for the job — thermoplastic where traffic is heavy, spray applied paint where the surface needs to be back in use quickly, two part resin where wear is relentless — and programme the work overnight or at weekends so the site keeps trading.

  • Free survey, set out drawing and a fixed price against a written scope
  • Operatives on site within the hour for reactive works
  • Site specific RAMS, permits and insurance issued before mobilisation
  • Marked overnight or in sections so the site keeps trading
  • Photographic records and a handover pack on completion
  • Single point of contact from survey through to sign off

In detail

What our line marking services cover

From refreshing a tired car park to marking out a new distribution centre floor, every job starts with a set out and ends with a surface that tells drivers and pedestrians exactly where to go.

Car park bay marking and re lining

We set the layout out before marking, so you get the most usable bays the area allows rather than inheriting whatever was there before. Standard, oversized, disabled, parent and child, EV and motorcycle bays, plus hatching, arrows and yellow lines.

Warehouse and internal floor marking

Aisles, racking lines, walkways, MHE routes, stock and staging areas marked in materials that survive forklift traffic and scrubber driers. Pedestrian routes are separated from vehicle routes properly, which is usually the point of the exercise.

Safety, fire route and hazard marking

Fire routes, emergency access, assembly points, keep clear zones, restricted areas and hazard hatching. High visibility and reflective options where markings need to work in low light or at night.

Crossings, walkways and traffic routes

Zebra and access crossings, segregated walkways, traffic lanes, one way systems, give way and stop lines, junction and island markings, speed hump markings and cycle lanes — applied to the correct specification.

Sports courts and playgrounds

Multi sport courts marked to governing body dimensions indoors and out, plus games, tracks, numbers and activity markings for school playgrounds — programmed into holidays and half terms so nothing disrupts teaching.

Materials, removal and refresh programmes

Thermoplastic, spray applied paint and two part resin, chosen for the surface and the traffic rather than for what is quickest. Redundant markings removed cleanly, and scheduled refresh programmes so markings never reach the point where drivers ignore them.

Needs resurfacing before it can be marked? The same group covers tarmac surfacing, civil engineering, anti skid coatings, specialist cleaning and building services — on the same order and the same programme.

How we work

Four stages, from first visit to handover

Whether it is a single reactive repair or a full building refurbishment, every project receives the same structured approach, attention to detail and commitment to quality.

FAQs

Line marking questions

How long before we can drive or park on new markings?

Spray applied paint is usually trafficable within 30 to 60 minutes depending on temperature, so a car park marked overnight is open in the morning. Thermoplastic sets as it cools and is ready almost immediately. Two part resin takes longer, and we will tell you how long when we quote.

Can you mark a car park without closing it?

Yes. We work overnight, at weekends or section by section so parking stays available. For retail and hospitality sites this is normal for us rather than an exception.

Which material should we use?

It depends on the surface and the traffic. Thermoplastic for heavy or continuous vehicle traffic, spray applied paint where the area needs to be back in use quickly or where markings change periodically, and two part resin where wear is relentless. We recommend based on the site, not on what is easiest to apply.

Can you get more spaces out of our existing car park?

Often, yes. Bay module, aisle width and circulation all affect capacity, and many car parks were marked to a layout that no longer suits the vehicles using them. We survey and produce a set out before marking, so you can see the space gained before committing.

Do you remove old markings?

Yes. Redundant markings are removed cleanly rather than painted over, so the new layout is not competing with a ghost of the old one. We choose the removal method to suit the surface underneath.

Do you mark warehouse and factory floors as well as car parks?

Yes. Aisles, racking lines, MHE routes, pedestrian walkways, storage zones and safety marking, in materials that survive forklift traffic and mechanical cleaning.

Is a site survey and quotation free?

Yes. Surveys, set out proposals and quotations are free and carry no obligation. We normally survey within a few working days and return a fixed price against a written scope shortly afterwards.

Do you cover the whole of the UK?

Yes, and Ireland. Regional teams cover single sites and national portfolios, including rolling marking programmes across an estate.
