Common questions

Can you mark a site that runs 24 hours?

Yes. We phase by area rather than by time, so a section is closed, marked, cured and handed back while the rest of the operation continues.

Should yard and internal marking match?

Yes, in colour convention at least. Drivers and pedestrians moving between yard and building should not have to reinterpret what the colours mean.

Which materials for a distribution site?

Thermoplastic in the yard, resin internally where MHE traffic is heaviest, paint where layouts change. We will specify by area rather than applying one material everywhere.

How soon can we drive or walk on new markings?

Spray applied paint is normally trafficable within 30 to 60 minutes depending on temperature. Thermoplastic sets as it cools and is ready almost immediately. Two part resin takes longer and we will tell you how long when we quote.

Do you have to close the site?

No. We work overnight, at weekends or section by section so the site keeps operating. For retail, hospitality and distribution that is how we work as standard.

Is a site survey and quotation free?

Yes. Surveys, set out proposals and quotations are free and carry no obligation. We normally survey within a few working days and return a fixed price on the same day.

Do you cover the whole of the UK?

Yes, and Ireland. Regional teams cover single sites and national portfolios, including rolling marking programmes across an estate.
