Common questions
How many spaces will we get?
It depends on the shape, access points and bay module. We produce a set out at survey so you can see the layout and the count before committing to anything.
Should we allow for EV charging now?
If there is any prospect of it in the next few years, yes. Ducting and bases installed while the ground is open cost a fraction of cutting them into a finished surface later.
How long does construction take?
Typically three to six weeks from formation through to markings, weather depending. We give you a real programme rather than an optimistic one.
How soon can we drive on it?
Tarmac can normally take traffic once it has cooled, which is usually the same day. We will confirm at the time based on thickness and temperature rather than making you wait unnecessarily.
Do we have to close the whole area?
No. We work in sections or overnight so most of the site stays usable. For retail and distribution sites that is how we work as standard.
Is a site survey and quotation free?
Yes. Surveys and quotations are free and carry no obligation. We normally survey within a few working days and return a fixed price against a written scope on the same day.
Do you cover the whole of the UK?
Yes, and Ireland. Regional gangs cover single sites and national portfolios, including rolling surfacing programmes across several regions at once.
