Common questions
How quickly can you board up after a break in?
Within the hour, 24 hours a day. Getting the building secure comes first; the replacement glass is measured and ordered at the same visit.
How long until the permanent glass is fitted?
Standard units are typically a few days. Toughened, laminated and specialist units take longer, and we will tell you the lead time at the make safe visit rather than leaving you guessing.
Will you deal with our insurer?
Yes. We photograph and document the damage and the works so a claim can be supported without additional evidence being requested later.
Do you work in occupied and trading buildings?
Most of our work is in live buildings. Offices, retail units, warehouses, hotels and schools rarely close, so we phase works overnight, at weekends or floor by floor, with dust screening and safe segregation throughout.
Is a site survey and quotation free?
Yes. Surveys and quotations are free and carry no obligation. We normally survey within a few working days and return a fixed price against a written scope on the same day.
What insurance, accreditations and paperwork do you provide?
Site specific RAMS, permits, insurance certificates and accreditation details are issued before mobilisation, with waste transfer notes, photographs and a handover pack on completion.
Do you cover the whole of the UK?
