Common questions
What payback can we expect from an LED upgrade?
It depends on the existing fittings and the running hours, but two to four years is typical for a building running long hours on fluorescent or halogen. We give you the figures based on your actual usage rather than a generic claim.
Can lighting be replaced without closing areas?
Yes. We work zone by zone, usually out of hours in offices and retail, so nobody is working under a half stripped ceiling.
Do you carry out EICR testing?
Yes, with a report that prioritises remedials by risk rather than handing you an undifferentiated list of everything found.
Do you work in occupied and trading buildings?
Most of our work is in live buildings. Offices, retail units, warehouses, hotels and schools rarely close, so we phase works overnight, at weekends or floor by floor, with dust screening and safe segregation throughout.
Is a site survey and quotation free?
Yes. Surveys and quotations are free and carry no obligation. We normally survey within a few working days and return a fixed price against a written scope on the same day.
What insurance, accreditations and paperwork do you provide?
Site specific RAMS, permits, insurance certificates and accreditation details are issued before mobilisation, with waste transfer notes, photographs and a handover pack on completion.
Do you cover the whole of the UK?
Yes, and Ireland. Regional teams cover single sites and national portfolios, including multi site programmes delivered simultaneously across several regions.
