Common questions
Why did our last floor fail?
Nine times out of ten it is moisture or preparation. A floor laid over a damp slab without a membrane, or over a contaminated or unsound substrate, will lift or bubble however good the covering is. We test before we lay.
Can flooring be laid overnight?
Yes, and for retail, healthcare and offices we normally do. Fast curing screeds and adhesives mean an area can often be back in use the next morning.
Can you repair rather than replace?
Where the substrate is sound and the covering is still available, localised repair is usually the sensible spend. We will tell you when patching will look obvious and replacement is the better answer.
Do you work in occupied and trading buildings?
Most of our work is in live buildings. Offices, retail units, warehouses, hotels and schools rarely close, so we phase works overnight, at weekends or floor by floor, with dust screening and safe segregation throughout.
Is a site survey and quotation free?
Yes. Surveys and quotations are free and carry no obligation. We normally survey within a few working days and return a fixed price against a written scope on the same day.
What insurance, accreditations and paperwork do you provide?
Site specific RAMS, permits, insurance certificates and accreditation details are issued before mobilisation, with waste transfer notes, photographs and a handover pack on completion.
Do you cover the whole of the UK?
Yes, and Ireland. Regional teams cover single sites and national portfolios, including multi site programmes delivered simultaneously across several regions.
