Common questions
Is treating emergency routes a requirement?
Keeping them usable is. Treatment is one way of demonstrating you have thought about whether the route works in the conditions an emergency is likely to happen in.
What about ice?
Anti skid treatment helps but does not eliminate ice risk. It should sit alongside a gritting regime rather than replace one, and we will say so rather than overselling it.
Can you mark and treat in one visit?
Yes. Treatment first, then markings once cured, on one order through the same group.
How quickly can the area be reopened?
It depends on the system and the temperature. Rapid cure products take foot traffic in an hour or two and vehicles the same day. Standard resin systems generally need overnight. We tell you the cure times before you commit so you can plan around them.
Why do coatings fail?
Almost always preparation. A coating applied over a contaminated, polished or unsound substrate will lift within months however good the product is. Preparation is most of the labour on any coating job and it is what determines whether it lasts.

Yes. Slip risk surveys and quotations are free and carry no obligation. We normally survey within a few working days and return a fixed price on the same day.
