Common questions
Is guano a confined space risk?
In roof voids, ducts and enclosed plant areas, frequently yes — both from the atmosphere and from the access. It is assessed as a confined space entry where that applies.
What protection is needed?
Appropriate respiratory protective equipment, disposable coveralls and containment. The dust is the hazard, and it is generated the moment the material is disturbed.
Can the space be used straight afterwards?
After removal, disinfection, washdown and drying, yes. We will not sign off a space as clean while it is still wet, because that creates a different problem.
How quickly can you attend?
We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and can have operatives on site within the hour. The first visit is about making the area safe and stopping the damage spreading; the full clean follows once the scope is clear.
Can you work while the site stays open?
In most cases. We work nights, early mornings and weekends, and section the area off where a clean has to happen during the day. Retail, hospitality and distribution sites rarely close, so this is normal for us.
What documentation do we receive?
Photographs before, during and after, waste transfer notes for anything removed, the products and methods used, and a written report your insurer, auditor or client pack will accept.
Do you cover the whole of the UK?
